Michael J. Ferro, Jr., the firm’s founding member, was graduated cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross, and earned his LL.M from New York University School of Law, and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. Following law school graduation, Mr. Ferro served as a law clerk to Justice C. Thomas Schettino of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
With more than 50 years of experience, Mr. Ferro structured sophisticated domestic and international commercial and financial transactions, including leveraged buy-outs and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Ferro also regularly counseled corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and individuals in legal matters pertaining to business organization and development, banking law, secured financing, commercial real estate transactions, and estate planning.
Mr. Ferro was a member of the Associate Board of Directors of United Jersey Bank, the Summit Bank Advisory Council, the Fleet Bank Advisory Council, and the Bank of America Partnership Alliance. He is presently a member of the Capital One Bank Chairman’s Club.
Mr. Ferro has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell* and was selected for inclusion on the list of “New Jersey Super Lawyers” which is published by New Jersey Monthly in its New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine, most recently in 2018.*
